About the role

We are looking for a brilliant Teaching Assistant with big ideas for our ambitious and growing village primary school. We have high expectations of the children and staff, and we want you to be the best Teaching Assistant you can be. Children in your care will be independent and inquisitive learners who just love coming into school. The role requires strong teamwork skills as well as a high level of flexibility as we are such a small school where everyone joins in to do their best for the children.

The successful candidate will have high expectations from all children and a commitment to continuous school improvement; in return Coaley C of E Primary Academy offers a supportive working environment with excellent opportunities for personal and professional development. You will get the best training you’ve ever had to be an amazing Teaching Assistant for our children at Coaley. There’s always biscuits in the staffroom, and often cakes too!

We also have a Lunchtime Supervisor vacancy which you may wish to fit within the role.

About the Academy

At Coaley C of E Primary Academy our ethos reflects our vision: We Believe, We Respect, We Belong, We Are Coaley. We deliver this through our core values and a positive, hardworking attitude in everything we do. We are a growing and expanding school and have recently moved to three classes, so our class sizes are currently small.

We are proud members of the Diocese of Gloucester Academies Trust (DGAT) family of schools and benefit from working with likeminded people across the trust in a forward thinking and creative environment, making a significant difference to the lives of children.

The vision of the Trust is to build and sustain a community of learning where staff and pupils can realise their potential and enjoy life in all its fullness.
